BAND-MAID Announces New EP “SCOOOOOP,” Out October 22


the release of their highly anticipated new EP, “SCOOOOOP,” on October 22, 2025. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the cover artwork, full tracklist, and details on exclusive bonus items.

The 8-track EP will feature hit singles such as “Zen” (opening theme for MAPPA’s original anime ZENSHU), “Ready to Rock” (opening theme for the TV anime Rock is a Lady’s Modesty), and “What is justice?” (ending theme for the anime TOUGEN ANKI). In addition, fans can look forward to five brand-new songs, making “SCOOOOOP” a must-have release that promises to exceed expectations.

The title of the OP theme is “Zen” and will be released in January as the their first single in 2025.

“Discovering PRS was a pivotal moment for me; I was instantly drawn to it, and it quickly became an essential part of BAND-MAID.

It’s an absolute honor to see my dream of having my own signature model come true. Since I started playing the PRS Custom 24, it has consistently been at the core of BAND-MAID’s sound.

For this model, I chose the Custom 24-08’s control layout because our songs often require me to play up to the high E on the 24th fret, and I frequently switch between humbucker and single-coil sounds.

As for the color finish, I chose Trampas Green Smokeburst as a tribute to the very first PRS I bought when I decided to dedicate myself to BAND-MAID with this guitar. It symbolizes my determination and serves as a reminder to stay true to my roots.

With this signature model, I hope to continue delivering songs that energize and inspire you all. As a guitarist and composer, I’ll keep striving to grow and improve. Thank you for your continued support!”
