BAND-MAID has announced the full schedule for the North American leg of their ongoing world tour, “BAND-MAID WORLD TOUR 2026.
BAND-MAID has continued to build a strong global presence through successful performances at major overseas festivals and headline shows around the world. This will be their first solo North American tour in approximately three years, following their “BAND-MAID 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR in North America” in 2023. While the North American leg had been announced at the beginning of the world tour, fans around the world have been eagerly waiting for the detailed schedule. The tour will include six shows across the United States, including New York and Los Angeles, as well as one show in Mexico. The band has also announced that the North American tour will feature their new music, making it one of the most anticipated tours for BAND-MAID fans worldwide. Ai Higuchi’s fourth album, Saiaku Saiai and fifth album, Miseisenjou, will be released on vinyl (LP) on November 3.
Ai Higuchi's fourth album, Saiaku Saiai and fifth album, Miseisenjou, will be released on vinyl (LP) on November 3. Originally released in March 2022, Saiaku Saiai features "Akuma no Ko" , the ending theme for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 2. The song became a global hit and continues to attract listeners around the world, making the album one of Higuchi's best-selling releases. Released in January 2024, Miseisenjou includes "Itterasshai," the ending theme for Attack on Titan The Final Season: The Final Chapters (episodic version). Following the success of "Akuma no Ko," the song became another major hit both in Japan and internationally. While fans in Japan and overseas have long awaited vinyl editions of these two albums, these releases also mark the very first analog records of Ai Higuchi's career. 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of Higuchi's major-label debut. She has also been announced as the performer of the first ending theme for the upcoming TV anime Aoashi Season 2, which is scheduled to premiere on NHK E-Tele on October 4. In 2026, FAIRY TAIL will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original manga series. To mark this special milestone, the original soundtracks from the first FAIRY TAIL anime series (2009–2013), composed by Yasuharu Takanashi, will be released on vinyl on September 30. The release comes in response to strong requests from fans around the world. All four soundtrack titles will feature cover artwork originally drawn by FAIRY TAIL creator Hiro Mashima for the CD releases. Each title will also be available as a colored vinyl edition. (more…)
