Singer-songwriter Ako has released her new song “Twilight” on January 15, accompanied by the debut of its music video and new artist photos.

“Twilight” is a heartfelt track blending urban sounds rooted in house and city pop. It captures the bittersweet emotions of recalling past happiness over and over before dawn. The song’s cutting-edge sound is brought to life by mixing engineer Nathan Boddy, known for his work on tracks like NewJeans’ “Super Shy”.

The music video for “Twilight” has also been released on Ako’s official YouTube channel. Directed by Ako’s creative team, londog, the video features cool and striking visuals that perfectly match the song’s atmosphere. Ako released a music video for “Borderline” from her 1st Album “GENE” released  on Ako’s official YouTube channel.

 

The song was produced by adding a lower voice with a different singing style in addition to Ako’s characteristic whisper voice.
This makes the song one that expresses more realistic feelings of wavering between the boundaries of love.

 

The music video was produced by Taiwanese artist Nin.
The video features a character that resembles a “Ako” and draws on the differences between lovers, creating a worldview that matches the song.
