Furui Riho’s first-ever anime tie-in song “Hello” to be released in advance!
Furui Riho has announced the advance digital release of her new song “Hello,” ahead of the July 30 release of her upcoming four-track single of the same name. The title track “Hello” has been selected as the opening theme for the TV anime CITY THE ANIMATION, which premieres on July 6. Written specifically for the series, it marks Furui Riho’s first contribution to an anime production. The song will be available for streaming and download starting July 7, in sync with the anime’s debut. Additionally, the second promotional video for CITY THE ANIMATION has been released. Kroi has been announced as the artist behind the new opening theme for the second cour of the TV anime SAKAMOTO DAYS, set to premiere on July 14. The band wrote an original track titled “Method” specifically for the series. SAKAMOTO DAYS is a hit manga with over 8 million copies in circulation. The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a legendary former hitman who now leads a quiet life with his beloved family. To protect his peaceful days, he takes on incoming assassins with the help of his companions in a fast-paced, action-packed tale. In the second cour, the stage is set for an explosive three-way showdown between the Sakamoto Store crew, the elite assassin unit ORDER, and a group of escaped death-row inmates led by the mysterious hitman killer “X” (Slur), voiced by Daisuke Namikawa. Aiko's new song "Capsule" has been chosen as the ending theme for the upcoming TV anime Apocalypse Hotel, set to premiere in April. The opening theme will be "skirt", a track from her album Zanshin Zansho, released on August 28, 2024. With both the opening and ending themes performed by Aiko, her music will shape the atmosphere of the anime. This project is a collaboration between CyberAgent and CygamesPictures. The character designs are created by Izumi Takemoto, known for his unique touch in works like Nekome Waku Series, Teketeke My Heart, and Garden Sisters.
