“Attack on Titan” – Beyond the Walls World Tour – The Official Concert announced!
The ”Attack on Titan” orchestral concert is set to be held in over 20 cities worldwide. The soundtrack that brings the anime Attack on Titan to life was crafted by two exceptional composers, Hiroyuki Sawano and KOHTA YAMAMOTO. The Attack on Titan Orchestral Concert allows fans to experience these beloved tracks, cherished by fans worldwide, with live orchestral and vocal performances set to the anime’s visuals. The concert was first held in Japan in 2021, where its powerful blend of music and imagery left a deep impact on attendees, leading to enduring demand for international performances. Now, in partnership with The Wild Faery Company, this orchestral concert will begin a world tour in April 2025, covering over 20 cities. This will be the first official overseas Attack on Titan concert, supervised by the original composers. GLAY performed at “2024 SUPER SLIPPA 超犀利趴13,” Taipei's largest festival event, held in Taiwan on August 24. This was the first time for the band to perform at a festival overseas. Both days of the two-day festival were sold out, and the venue was filled not only with local Taiwanese fans, but also with audience members from Japan. This was GLAY's last live performance in Taiwan in about six and a half years, since the “GLAY ARENA TOUR 2018 SPRINGDELICS” in 2018. The audience cheered and clapped loudly when the members appeared on stage and TERU ran to the center stage extending to the audience side and bowed to the audience. HEY-SMITH will tour Australia for the first time. The band will tour Australia in November with Voodoo Glow Skulls, with whom they performed together on the "Rest In Punk Tour" in 2023, as well as The Resignators. The tour will start in Adelaide on November 27, followed by appearances in Brisbane and Sydney, and the SKA Nation Festival in Colac on November 30. Special performance by BAND-MAID x The Warning, two girl rock bands active worldwide! They performed a surprise collaboration song for the first time!
BAND-MAID, the world's most popular girls' band, performed at “Lollapalooza” in the U.S. in 2023 as the first Japanese band in about 13 years. On June 12, BAND-MAID held a special performance at EX Theater Roppongi in Tokyo with a very popular Mexican band, The Warning. The Warning is a three-sister band from Monterrey, Mexico's third largest city, that has attracted hard rock fans since the release of their “Mayday EP” in 2021, and has garnered attention with over 86 million views on YouTube. This special performance was made happen after the band members, who were originally fans of BAND-MAID, met backstage at the “AFTERSHOCK FESTIVAL” to be held in the United States in 2022. A collaboration song, BAND-MAID with The Warning “SHOW THEM,” was also produced for this performance. And at the end of the performance, they made a surprise performance together for the first time.
