Analog versions of Fishmans’ popular best-of albums “Kuchu” and “Uchu” which were produced beyond the borders of the labels, will be released!
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of their debut, the Fishmans continue to gain new fans on a global scale. The best-of albums "Kuchu" and "Uchu," originally released simultaneously in 2005 as a joint project between PONY CANYON and UNIVERSAL MUSIC, will be reissued as a double vinyl set on colored vinyl by both companies. This work is a best-of selection made by drummer Kinichi Motegi (currently of Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra), transcending the boundaries of the two labels based on the concepts of "Kuchu" and "Uchu." This box set includes the unknown last single "Hana no Image", which is being converted into a 7-inch analog single for the first time. All the singles released at the time were also reissued in analog for the first time, making this a complete box set containing a total of nine single records. The band will tour Australia in November with Voodoo Glow Skulls, with whom they performed together on the "Rest In Punk Tour" in 2023, as well as The Resignators.
