Furui Riho’s first-ever anime tie-in song “Hello” to be released in advance!
Furui Riho has announced the advance digital release of her new song “Hello,” ahead of the July 30 release of her upcoming four-track single of the same name. The title track “Hello” has been selected as the opening theme for the TV anime CITY THE ANIMATION, which premieres on July 6. Written specifically for the series, it marks Furui Riho’s first contribution to an anime production. The song will be available for streaming and download starting July 7, in sync with the anime’s debut. Additionally, the second promotional video for CITY THE ANIMATION has been released. toconoma Announces Asia Tour and Tokyo Finale as Second Leg of “ISLAND” Tour, Following First Full Album in Four Years!
In November 2024, instrumental band toconoma released ISLAND, their first full-length album in four years. Following the album’s release, the band launched their nationwide “ISLAND” tour across six cities in Japan. As the second leg of the tour, they’ll take the stage in seven cities across Asia before wrapping up with a final show at Spotify O-EAST in Tokyo on September 21. Starting in July, toconoma will tour Shanghai, Beijing, Yogyakarta, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Taipei, and Seoul, culminating in the Tokyo finale. Their fifth album, ISLAND, marks their first since VISTA four years ago. The album was created amidst their unique lifestyle of balancing full-time jobs with their musical pursuits—a rhythm they've maintained since forming the band. Kroi Pens New Song “Method” as Opening Theme for Second Cour of TV Anime SAKAMOTO DAYS — CD Release Confirmed!
Kroi has been announced as the artist behind the new opening theme for the second cour of the TV anime SAKAMOTO DAYS, set to premiere on July 14. The band wrote an original track titled “Method” specifically for the series. SAKAMOTO DAYS is a hit manga with over 8 million copies in circulation. The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a legendary former hitman who now leads a quiet life with his beloved family. To protect his peaceful days, he takes on incoming assassins with the help of his companions in a fast-paced, action-packed tale. In the second cour, the stage is set for an explosive three-way showdown between the Sakamoto Store crew, the elite assassin unit ORDER, and a group of escaped death-row inmates led by the mysterious hitman killer “X” (Slur), voiced by Daisuke Namikawa. Bedroom artist Tota has announced the release of their new song “Hope” on April 9, written as the opening theme for the new anime adaptation Anne Shirley. The anime is based on the globally beloved Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery, translated into Japanese by Hanako Muraoka and published by Shinchosha.
