A mysterious singer, Chogakusei’s new song “Hazure” will be the opening theme song for the TV anime “Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells” which will start airing in July.

The TV anime “Failure Frame: I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells” is an anime adaptation of a popular light novel written by Yoshi Shinozaki and illustrated by KWKM, which has been published by Overlap Bunko since 2018.

The story is popular for its expression of the dark emotions of the main character, Touka Mimori, who is summoned to another world with his classmates, only to be abandoned by a goddess, and survives by using only “abnormal skills” to seek revenge, as well as the duality of the story in which he deepens his bonds with his friends while harboring a desire for vengeance.

The first PV has been newly released, and the opening theme song, “Hazure” by Chogakusei, has also been partially released in the PV.

Chogakusei says of the work, “My name is Chogakusei, and I will be in charge of the opening theme song for this anime. I have had the opportunity to read from Naro novels on a radio show before, and I can’t help but feel a strange connection to this work, which is also based on a Naro novel. Tsujimura and Yamanaka have wrote the lyrics and composed exciting music for the anime adaptation, which will be exhilarating to listen to and inspire the imagination of the audience. We recorded the music, taking advantage of our experience in reading and working with Tsujimura. We hope it will help expand the world of the anime.
