BAND-MAID Guitarist KANAMI Makes History! Announcing the Release of the First-Ever PRS Signature Model Guitar by a Japanese Artist!

The globally renowned all-girl hard rock band BAND-MAID has been topping charts worldwide with their latest album, Epic Narratives. Adding to the buzz, the band’s lead guitarist KANAMI (Gt), who composed all the tracks on the new album, is set to release her first-ever signature model guitar in collaboration with the American guitar manufacturer PRS. This marks the first signature model by PRS for a Japanese artist.

Named the “PRS KANAMI Limited Edition”, this exclusive model will be limited to just 200 units worldwide. Packed with KANAMI’s unique preferences and attention to detail, this guitar is sure to excite fans and guitar enthusiasts alike. KANAMI’s Comment:

“Discovering PRS was a pivotal moment for me; I was instantly drawn to it, and it quickly became an essential part of BAND-MAID.

It’s an absolute honor to see my dream of having my own signature model come true. Since I started playing the PRS Custom 24, it has consistently been at the core of BAND-MAID’s sound.

For this model, I chose the Custom 24-08’s control layout because our songs often require me to play up to the high E on the 24th fret, and I frequently switch between humbucker and single-coil sounds.

As for the color finish, I chose Trampas Green Smokeburst as a tribute to the very first PRS I bought when I decided to dedicate myself to BAND-MAID with this guitar. It symbolizes my determination and serves as a reminder to stay true to my roots.

With this signature model, I hope to continue delivering songs that energize and inspire you all. As a guitarist and composer, I’ll keep striving to grow and improve. Thank you for your continued support!”
