Hakubi

Formed in 2017, three-piece band “Hakubi” from Kyoto

Hakubi is active in their hometown Kyoto and other cities in Japan, and their straightforward words spun by Vo/Gt. Katagiri and their powerful voice that appeals to listeners who are quick to listen to their music, “Yume no Tsuzuki” has been viewed more than 3,370,000 times on YouTube.

The 1st, 2nd, and 2 e.p. sold 3,500 copies each despite being limited to live venues, and in April 2019, the 3rd e.p., “Koubou”, was released for the first time for nationwide distribution. The first release tour in 2018 took place in 21 locations, and the second release tour in 2019 took place in a total of 30 locations, with the muddy live band aspect, which is different from the sound source, being one of the appeals of the tour, with major cities on the tour SOLD OUT across the board.

In October 2020, they will hold their first solo live concert at their home venue, KYOTO MUSEE, and at the same concert, they will announce their major label debut from unBORDE, a label within Warner Music Japan.

On September 8, 2021, they released their first full album “era” and toured 26 venues nationwide, including Shibuya O-EAST.

In 2022, the band will perform at major festivals such as VIVA LA ROCK 2022, Kyoto Daisousen 2022, and PORNO SUPER EXPRESS,

On March 15, 2023, they released their 2nd Full Album “Eye” from Pony Canyon, and went on a one-man tour in 8 locations throughout Japan, the final stop being at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA in Tokyo.
