GARNiDELiA
The unit name GARNiDELiA is an anagram of “Le Palais Garnier de Maria” (“The place where Meilia sings”) and “Cordelia,” an asteroid of the same name discovered in the year of TOKU’s birth. The name is a play on the word “Cordelia”.
Meilia, who models for various fashion brands and is popular among women of her generation, is in charge of GARNiDELiA’s artwork and lyrics. GARNiDELiA Completes Their 10th Anniversary World Tour!
GARNiDELiA celebrated their 10th debut anniversary with the grand finale of their world tour, which began in August 2023 and included a total of 26 performances, held at EX THEATER ROPPONGI on December 27, 2024. During the show, it was announced that MARiA would embark on her first solo tour in approximately three years, titled MARiA MUSIC LAND tour 2025. Additionally, a tour featuring their upcoming all-time best album, set to release on February 26, will kick off on July 20 at the Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall. The newly announced MARiA solo tour will begin on March 1 in Chengdu, followed by stops in Wuhan, Chongqing, and Tokyo. Additional cities for the tour will be announced in due course. GARNiDELiA has already revealed that they will release their all-time best album, GRND THE BEST PROGRESS, on February 26. This album aims to meet worldwide demand and will include self-covers in English and Chinese. As a culmination of their 10-year career, GARNiDELiA continues to pursue ambitious activities both as a duo and individually.
