A singer-songwriter who charms with her musicality based on black music and her voice that has sweetness, sadness, glamor, and strength.
Her artist name comes from “Eill,” the goddess of healing in Norse mythology. The name reflects her belief that the power of healing also resides in music.
She began singing at the age of 15 and started composing music on her PC at the same time.
She debuted in June 2018 with the single “MAKUAKE” and released a mini album “MAKUAKE” in October.
In November 2019, she released her 1st AL “SPOTLIGHT”, which was created with the concept of “dance music you can listen to with earphones”. The song “SPOTLIGHT” was No. 1 on the radio air charts for two weeks in a row, making her name become well-known in Japan.Her versatile songwriting sense has received high acclaim, and she has provided songs for NEWS, Taeyeon (ex Girls’ Generation), EXID, and others.
Many artists have been attracted by her emotional voice, and she has performed as a guest on songs for artists in Japan and international artists such as SKY-HI, m-flo, Sanari, and PINK SWEAT$, a R&B singer from Philadelphia, among others. And she is also loved by DJs, dancers, curators, actors, and other non-artists.
Her second mini-album “LOVE/LIKE/HATE” released in November 2020 is based on the theme of love and hate, which is also the starting point of her music creation. The lyrics, which delicately describe the subtleties of the heart, have a more human touch, and the musicality has evolved to include everything from ballads to rock.
