Band-Maid are an impossibly hard rocking, 5 pieces, an all-female rock band formed in 2013.
Don’t let their aesthetics fool you, these five “maids” are highly skilled musicians and songwriters, and their hard hitting sound, shredding guitars,
pounding drums and catchy hooks have been praised by fans and media around the world.
A burgeoning fan base both domestic and international has seen Band-Maid sell out multiple dates in the US, UK, and Europe, and scores of YouTube reaction videos from fans around the world blown away by the group’s level of virtuosity and musical chops.
The total number of views on Youtube is over 150 million, and the total number of views on reaction videos is over 40 million.
2020 saw the release of the full album “Unseen World, and 2021 will see the group make their Hollywood debut in the Netflix film “Kate”.
In 2022, the band will perform at the world-famous music festival “AFTERSHOCK” and tour the United States with an attendance of over 20,000 people.
The group continues to make great strides on a global scale toward its goal of world domination.

BAND-MAID Announces New EP “SCOOOOOP,” Out October 22
the release of their highly anticipated new EP, “SCOOOOOP,” on October 22, 2025. Alongside the announcement, the band has unveiled the cover artwork, full tracklist, and details on exclusive bonus items. The 8-track EP will feature hit singles such as “Zen” (opening theme for MAPPA’s original anime ZENSHU), “Ready to Rock” (opening theme for the TV anime Rock is a Lady’s Modesty), and “What is justice?” (ending theme for the anime TOUGEN ANKI). In addition, fans can look forward to five brand-new songs, making “SCOOOOOP” a must-have release that promises to exceed expectations. The striking cover art, depicting newspapers spilling from an airship, hints at the meaning behind the EP’s title and builds anticipation for its release. New Live Video Released To celebrate the announcement, BAND-MAID has released the full live performance video of “Ready to Rock” on their official YouTube channel. Filmed at Tokyo’s Toyosu PIT during BAND-MAID TOUR 2025 SECOND ROUND, the video marks the first time the anime opening has been shared in its entirety.
