She made her major label debut in 1998 with the single “Ashita. To date, they have released 44 singles, 15 original albums, 2 best albums, and 1 singles collection, including such hits as “Hanabi,” “Beetle,” “Boyfriend,” “Kira Kira,” “KissHug,” “milk,” “Koi no Super Ball,” “Motto,” and “Straw. After releasing her 15th full-length album, “Mutual Love for the Two of Us Now,” on March 29, 2023, she will embark on aiko Live Tour “Love Like Pop vol.23,” a concert hall tour of 30 concerts in 19 locations throughout Japan. From January to March 2024, they held aiko Live Tour “Love Like Pop vol.24”, their first arena tour in five years. A new song, “love each other” was chosen as the theme song for the movie version of “Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Five-Year Road,” which is going to be released in theaters on April 12, 2024.
Since its debut, aiko has continued to attract support from a wide range of people, young and old, male and female. aiko will celebrate its 25th anniversary on July 17, 2023.

Aiko’s New Song “Capsule” Chosen as the Ending Theme for TV Anime Apocalypse Hotel! Theme Song “Capsule” Debuts in the Anime’s PV!
Aiko's new song "Capsule" has been chosen as the ending theme for the upcoming TV anime Apocalypse Hotel, set to premiere in April. The opening theme will be "skirt", a track from her album Zanshin Zansho, released on August 28, 2024. With both the opening and ending themes performed by Aiko, her music will shape the atmosphere of the anime. This project is a collaboration between CyberAgent and CygamesPictures. The character designs are created by Izumi Takemoto, known for his unique touch in works like Nekome Waku Series, Teketeke My Heart, and Garden Sisters. The series composition is handled by Shigeru Murakoshi, who has worked on popular titles such as Zombie Land Saga and NINJA KAMUI. Animation production will be carried out by CygamesPictures. Expressing her excitement about providing both theme songs, Aiko commented: "I'm incredibly happy to be in charge of both the opening and ending themes! While singing 'skirt,' I wondered if robots would feel this way if they had blood running through them. And with 'Capsule,' I sang about how memories with loved ones never fade, even if the battery runs out. Together with the staff of Apocalypse Hotel, I’ll sing while believing in the owner's promise."...
