NEK!

NEK! is a four-piece all-female rock band consisting of Hika (Vocals/Guitar), Natsu (Guitar), Kanade (Bass), and Cocoro (Drums).

Formed on February 10, 2024, the band came together after each member—who had been sharing their music through YouTube and social media—became fans of one another’s performances.

Their name, “NEK!,” comes from the Japanese internet slang “neki,” a term used to describe a reliable and admirable woman, reflecting the band’s online roots.

Blending rock with catchy lyrics inspired by internet culture, they have created their own unique style, which they call “Slang Rock.” Through their strong presence on social media and impressive musicianship, NEK! has quickly gained attention from audiences in Japan and around the world.

On June 10, 2026, they made their major-label debut with the digital single “FLiCK” under Pony Canyon.
