Singer-songwriter Baby Canta’s new song “Let’s Go Crazy” has been selected as the opening theme for the TV anime “Ace of Diamond act II Second Season,” which begins airing on April 5.
This marks Baby Canta’s first anime tie-in. The track is also set to be released digitally on April 3, ahead of the anime’s broadcast.

The anime series “Ace of Diamond” is based on the popular manga by Yuji Terajima. The story follows protagonist Eijun Sawamura, who enrolls at the prestigious Seido High School baseball program and strives for a national championship alongside teammates such as Kazuya Miyuki, Satoru Furuya, and Haruichi Kominato.

The anime first began airing in 2013, followed by FIRST SEASON and SECOND SEASON. A new chapter of the story, Ace of Diamond act II, aired from 2019 to 2020. In 2024, a sequel to act II was officially announced, and the highly anticipated new installment, “Ace of Diamond act II Second Season,” is set to premiere on April 5.

The opening theme, “Let’s Go Crazy,” is an energetic guitar-driven rock track that captures the spirit of high school baseball players chasing their dreams and giving their all in every moment. The song was arranged by Shin Sakiura, who gained attention for his work on On The Way (Kakumei Doucyuu) by AiNA THE END. This marks his second collaboration with Baby Canta, following the track “Brother.” The cover artwork features a newly illustrated design depicting the determined side profile of Ace of Diamond protagonist Eijun Sawamura, reflecting the song’s bright and powerful sound.

On March 10, an anime PV featuring part of the song was also revealed, allowing fans to get an early listen to “Let’s Go Crazy” alongside new anime footage. Pre-add／Pre-save have also begun across streaming platforms. More details are available on Baby Canta’s official social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, and X).

It has also been announced that this release will mark Baby Canta’s major debut under Pony Canyon. At the same time, he has joined the music agency id ENTERTAINMENT, which is belong to artists such as back number, FUNKY MONKEY BΛBY’S, and Uru.

With these announcements, even greater attention is expected to focus on Baby Canta’s upcoming activities.
