Ako’s first anime tie-in! She will perform the opening theme for the second season of the TV anime Me and the Alien MuMu, airing this summer!

Singer-songwriter Ako will perform the new opening theme for the second cour of the TV anime Me and the Alien MuMu, which begins airing on July 2.

The newly written song, titled “MOVE MOVE,” marks Ako’s first-ever anime tie-in.

Me and the Alien MuMu is a “super spectacle x household appliances x cat comedy” that follows MuMu, a cat-like alien who travels to Earth from a distant galaxy, and the chaotic adventures that unfold with the main character Sakurako and her friends.

A preview of the song can be heard in the latest promo video, now available on the anime’s official YouTube channel. Stay tuned for more details, including the release date of the track.
