She made her major label debut in 1998 with the single “Ashita. To date, they have released 44 singles, 15 original albums, 2 best albums, and 1 singles collection, including such hits as “Hanabi,” “Beetle,” “Boyfriend,” “Kira Kira,” “KissHug,” “milk,” “Koi no Super Ball,” “Motto,” and “Straw. After releasing her 15th full-length album, “Mutual Love for the Two of Us Now,” on March 29, 2023, she will embark on aiko Live Tour “Love Like Pop vol.23,” a concert hall tour of 30 concerts in 19 locations throughout Japan. From January to March 2024, they held aiko Live Tour “Love Like Pop vol.24”, their first arena tour in five years. A new song, “love each other” was chosen as the theme song for the movie version of “Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Five-Year Road,” which is going to be released in theaters on April 12, 2024.
Since its debut, aiko has continued to attract support from a wide range of people, young and old, male and female. aiko will celebrate its 25th anniversary on July 17, 2023.

On July 17, aiko marked the 27th anniversary of her debut — and to celebrate, she launched her official TikTok account. To commemorate this milestone, a special aiko 27th Anniversary Playlist is now available across major streaming platforms. The playlist features 27 carefully selected tracks, each chosen by staff members at her label, PONY CANYON, who picked songs that hold personal meaning to them in celebration of aiko’s incredible career. Take a listen and celebrate her anniversary together by diving into her rich discography. aiko has also announced her upcoming hall tour, aiko Live Tour “Love Like Pop vol.25”, which kicks off on January 15, 2026, at J:COM Hall Hachioji in Tokyo and wraps up on June 30, 2026, at Festival Hall in Osaka. The 37-show tour will visit 21 venues in 19 cities across Japan, marking her first hall tour in nearly two years.
